our leadership

After spending 12 years working in a combination of residential, commercial, large mining and infrastructure projects, Christian found that schedule development and management was performed inefficiently across the board. Improving on these processes could greatly assist in project delivery not only in terms of time but also quality, cost and risk – so he founded Consilium.

Christian’s passion for the integration of cost, schedule and resourcing associated with projects both small and large scale has resulted in significant improvements not only at a project level but across portfolios and businesses too. Christian draws on his deep experience in project management, project supervision and training groups in the project management body of knowledge to lead Consilium. He is proficient in using and training others in the use of various project and portfolio management tools, including but not limited to Primavera, MS Project, PPM, Planview and 1sap.

Christian’s project experience is backed by a Bachelors degree in Construction Management and Economics as well as Diplomas in Building and Builders Registration.

Shane has over fifteen years of experience within civil, infrastructure, mining, energy, heavy engineering & construction industries. Having worked in a variety of roles, from Engineering, Superintendent, Construction Manager, Project Manager, Bid Manager and Operations Manager, Shane has a deep understanding of the requirements to deliver projects across each stage of the project life cycle.

Degree qualified Civil Engineer with MIEA and MIEI professional memberships.

Shane has led various major & minor project portfolios across Australia with full P&L responsibility. Projects have consisted of green field and brown field projects as well as maintenance framework agreements for a variety of blue chip companies and minor companies. Experience in a variety of mixed contracting models has given Shane a keen eye for commercial awareness and risk mitigation.

A strong believer in people development, Shane has experience in developing personnel from graduates and blue collar personnel into industry leaders.

Tom Morrisey

Project Superintendent

Tommy is a highly dedicated and motivated Construction Specialist, with a willingness and ability to learn and adapt to change quickly and efficiently. He has over 17 years of experience in the Maintenance and Construction industry, and has worked in different companies in Australia and Ireland, as well as built up a vast array of knowledge, which he uses on a daily basis to ensure all works are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

Tommy has a range of capabilities and knowledge including, but not limited to, welding procedures, Australian standards and specifications, management of materials, integration with multiple trades and excellent communication with colleagues and clients.

Rohan Biglin

Lead Project Planner

Rohan completed his Masters in Architecture, and is currently completing his Masters in Project Management whilst maintaining a fulltime workload at Consilium Solutions.

His knowledge of design as well as construction method, greatly assists him in the effective development of fit for purpose programs across a variety of industries. Whilst developing programs, he has also been able to successfully manage a number of significant maintenance projects.

His proactive and methodical approach to problem solving, ensures all aspects of the project are considered from both a program and project management perspective.

David Ly

Project Manager

David is a Project Manager with over 15 years of experience and capability to lead multiple complex projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered to scope, on time and within budget.

He is an empowering and inclusive team leader who fosters a culture of care and respect. Builds, coaches and leads diverse teams to perform in complex and challenging environments. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build trust and deliver successful project outcomes and business value.

Being a highly organised and pragmatic professional with a continuous improvement and strategic mindset, David is a business-focused problem solver with strong operating integrity, communication, analytical, decision-making, stakeholder engagement and risk management skills.

Chantelle Potgieter

Project Controls Lead

Meet Chantelle, one of our Lead Project Controls Managers. With extensive experience across the energy and construction sectors, Chantelle brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning, cost control, scheduling and operational optimisation. She has a strong track record of leading teams through complex, large-scale projects, improving efficiency and delivering high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.

Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Management, Chantelle is passionate about innovation and the evolving future of project controls. Her experience includes implementing advanced project tracking systems, integrating digital and AI-driven solutions, and developing smarter planning and forecasting frameworks. Combining technical expertise with forward-thinking leadership, Chantelle is always looking for better ways to work, make informed decisions and deliver meaningful results.

Magued Shalabi

Senior Project Engineer

Meet Magued one of our most experienced Project professionals with a proven track record of contributing to the successful delivery of EPC Mining, Oil and Gas Brownfields, Greenfields, fabrication and on-site projects.

A qualified Civil Engineer, Magued has strong construction engineering and project management skills. Demonstrated capability in leading and supporting large work packages, small projects and a portfolio of projects of different types. He holds extensive experience with mining process module fabrication and LNG module fabrication, fabrication and installation of Fixed Offshore Platforms, process modules, and pressure vessels, recently handled Asset Maintenance and Management of LNG Plant as well as Subsea Equipment and ROV Tooling.

Magued has also led a number of engineering projects in Karrara, Murren Murren, Dampier Salt. These projects were a blend of supply and installation. With a keen eye for full lifecycle project engineering, Magued has developed systems in long with client requirements in order to successfully deliver complete project handover.

Commercially astute, extensive experience in Risk Management. Capable of influencing across different functional groups.

Nicola Primér

Cost Manager

Nicky is a Project Controls professional with over 15 years of international experience delivering large-scale capital projects across the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors. Her career spans major Oil & Gas projects for both Operators and Contractors, as well as a successful transition into Renewables, where she has led Project Controls functions across battery storage, sustainable materials and green hydrogen projects in Europe and Australia.

Proactive, resourceful and highly collaborative, Nicola brings strong expertise in cost control, planning, forecasting, risk management and governance. She combines a meticulous approach with a strong understanding of complex project environments, including Western Australia’s regulatory landscape, and is passionate about driving transparency, continuous improvement and informed decision-making. Her ability to build strong stakeholder relationships while maintaining robust project controls supports efficient execution and successful project delivery.

Patrick O'Connor

Project Engineer

Pa is a highly disciplined Project Engineer with work experience both in the manufacturing and construction sectors, who portrays an extremely positive and proactive attitude.

He aims towards following procedures in a right-first-time basis and collaborative environment, as he simultaneously seeks to develop new skills that will complement those gained at work and during his studies at Cork Institute of Technology.

Pa is a hard-working and life-long learner, with prime written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, allowing him to seamlessly transition between individual to team-based working environments.

Jahangeer Khan

Project Planner

Jahan is an experienced planner, who portrays an excellent attitude, hunger for work, and is always looking for better and smarter ways of doing things.

His background is associated with Civil Engineering, and has worked across brownfields shutdown environments, non-process infrastructure in the Pilbara to commercial multi-story developments.

Jahan is highly proficient in both Primavera and MS Project, with an excellent capability integrating P6 and Power BI Dashboards.

Chris Smith

Project Engineer

Meet Chris, one of our Project Engineers at Consilium. He is a highly motivated, detail-oriented, ambitious & competent engineer, passionate about applying theory to practice with a genuine desire to further his experience throughout Western Australia.

With a comprehensive understanding of design processes, manufacturing processes and installation methods, Chris has a good team spirit, with a deadline orientated mindset, while also having the ability to produce detailed execution documents from client requirements.

Chris holds experience in all design stages of a project, including research, development and manufacture, right through installation & final commissioning. Throughout these processes, key skills used daily include problem solving, teamwork, organisational and technical report writing.

Dylan Bloomfield

Project Planner

Meet Dylan, our Project Planner who has rapidly built a strong foundation in project planning and scheduling across a diverse range of projects throughout Western Australia.

Since joining Consilium, Dylan’s professional development has accelerated through exposure to a variety of projects and clients across different industries. This experience has strengthened his ability to adapt to different project environments, requirements and ways of working.

Dylan excels at communicating and collaborating with both project teams and clients, providing reliable support remotely and on-site while responding effectively to daily, weekly and monthly project requirements.

He has developed advanced experience in Project Planning and scheduling using industry-standard software including Primavera P6, MS Project and Navisworks to support effective project delivery.

Julie Picard

Julie is a highly skilled accomplished Project Engineer with a strong background in Civil Engineering and an impressive track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects.

She possess extensive qualifications and certifications which adequately suit the engineering industry, as well as hands-on experience in managing diverse projects across different regions.

Sean McGuinness

Project Engineer/Manager

Meet Sean, an innovative and adaptable qualified Mechanical Engineer with 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer/Manager in the mining, civil construction & manufacturing industry.

He has exceptional leadership and communicational skills, having held a managerial/team lead role in each of his previous fours roles across various industries.

Sean portrays a meticulous attention to detail combined with a PRINCE2 project management certification which has resulted in delivering on time and under budget.

Marnis Gerber

Senior Project Planner

Meet Marnis, Senior Planner with over 13 years of experience in planning and scheduling across mining, infrastructure, data centres, process plants and other major project environments. His career spans both strategic head-office planning and hands-on site delivery, giving him a well-rounded understanding of projects from design and procurement through to construction and commissioning.

Marnis brings strong expertise in managing complex schedules, coordinating planning teams and aligning project controls with broader project and client objectives. Proactive and detail-driven, he is skilled at turning project data into clear, meaningful insights that help identify risks early and support better decision-making. Experienced in Oracle Primavera Unifier, Primavera P6 scheduling, cost forecasting, reporting, and stakeholder coordination, Sarah is recognised for delivering accurate project information, supporting informed decision-making, and contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of complex projects.

Shane Armstrong

Project Engineer

Meet Shane, a highly adaptable and multidisciplinary engineering professional with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and over a decade of experience across water/wastewater treatment, construction, processing, and mechanical assembly.

He holds a proven track record in startup and execution environments, with strengths in project management, technical design, process optimisation, and client engagement. Shane has demonstrated the ability to operate across project lifecycles—from concept and R&D to commissioning and operation—while effectively managing contractors and cross-functional teams. Skilled in CAD design, planning & reporting, data analysis, and hands-on experience in both fieldwork and technical documentation.

Chris Hendrix

Project Planner

Chris is a highly motivated and adaptable professional with strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills. He is experienced in project planning, coordination, and team leadership across construction and maintenance environments.

Chris is skilled in Primavera P6, resource allocation, cost tracking, and schedule management & holds proven ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver projects safely, and supporting the team to deliver on time, and within budget.

Nathan Colgan

Senior Project Engineer

Nathan is a Project Manager and Senior Site Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a proven track record delivering complex engineering and construction projects. He is a diligent and proactive leader with a strong focus on team collaboration, development, and project delivery.

Nathan has hands-on experience coordinating and managing engineering projects from planning through to execution. He is an effective communicator who works equally well leading multidisciplinary teams or operating independently. With a keen eye for detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach, Nathan is recognised for his ability to resolve challenges efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Project Engineer

Laura is a results-driven Project Engineer with over 7 years of experience delivering residential, commercial, public and refurbishment projects in Germany. She brings strong expertise in multidisciplinary coordination, BIM, scheduling and project controls, with a focus on keeping projects aligned, efficient and on track.

With a strong technical background in structural engineering and digital construction, Laura has experience in reinforced concrete and steel design, cost planning, clash detection, workflow optimisation and reporting. Her collaborative and solutions-focused approach helps improve project efficiency, forecasting and successful project delivery.

Noah Sturgeon

Graduate Planner

Meet Noah, who is currently completing his Construction Management Honours Degree and has recently joined Consilium.

With hands-on experience across residential, commercial and mining environments, Noah has developed practical exposure to earthworks, concrete, formwork and general construction activities.

Safety-focused and equipped with a strong work-ethic, he brings practical understanding of site operations while continuing to develop his knowledge of construction and project delivery. With aspirations to progress into Site Planning or Project Management, he is building a strong foundation for a career within the construction industry.

Álvaro Acuña

Graduate Planner

Álvaro is a Mining Engineer with 8+ years of experience across major mining projects, combining hands-on expertise in execution planning, construction scheduling, project controls, constructability and field delivery.

Experienced in developing detailed schedules for complex underground works, integrating excavation sequences, productivity rates, equipment fleets, workforce, shift rosters, access constraints, logistics and multidisciplinary interfaces. Proven experience leading planning engineers and overseeing, reviewing and validating Primavera P6 schedules, alongside contract leadership for packages exceeding USD 50 million. Strong stakeholder facilitation skills with a proven track record of improving schedule performance, productivity, cost outcomes and operational readiness.
